Carpe Blueberriem.

We recently went to harvest nature's bounty at an apple farm, er, orchard that happened to also grow blueberries in a little mesh cage at the edge of civilization.  Turns out that it was good that there was a cage, because those blueberries were quite lively.

...there was something sorta metaphysical about the whole experience...

Can you believe how many berries are on these bushes?  Clara can't either.

"Mom won't miss this handful..."

"Look, Mom!  I found a blade of grass!"

Clara and a chicken were impersonating the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.  Unfortunately, I only captured half of the scene.

We also recently bought Clara a pair of shoes, and they came with her very first pair of granny socks.  Woot.  This girl is moving up in the world.

Finally, our memory card decided to take creative matters into its own hands and produce some new interpretations of our photographic experiences.  While this strikes me as somewhat presumptuous, the results are interesting enough that I'm thinking of contacting the William Morris agency and eliciting work for this memory card as the director of photography for a major motion picture.  It's about time it started pulling its weight around here...

Please don't judge me for the nylon stocking fashion faux pas. There's a good explanation that involves an attempted shoplifting from stride-rite.
